After being straightened by the uncoiler and straightener, the material is directly fed to the disc slitting line for longitudinal cutting, followed by constant tension devices, synchronous speed, and speed limit control to achieve optimal rewinding effects.

In the slitting line, the disc blades are staggered and installed on the upper and lower knife holders based on various factors such as the thickness and width of the raw materials to be processed. The power transmitted by a DC motor (servo motor) and universal joint causes the disc blades to perform circular motion for longitudinal cutting.
During load operation, the winding diameter gradually changes. Due to the change in winding diameter in the slitting line, the output torque of the motor needs to change with the winding diameter to maintain load operation.
As the unwinding speed gradually changes during the processing (unwinding becomes smaller, and rewinding becomes larger), the line speed of the entire unit can be adjusted through PLC and synchronous inverters to ensure the accuracy of cutting and winding effects. Generally, the unwinding speed of the slitting line goes from slow to fast, the speed of the disc cutter is generally synchronized with the unwinding speed, and the rewinding speed is controlled by the tension device. The winding effect is adjusted by varying speeds; the speeds of these three segments must be synchronized with the overall cutting line speed.
In the slitting line, the slitting machine blades are important components of the knife holder, with high processing accuracy. For flat surfaces, a surface grinder is required, and grinding is performed using special grinding methods, with strict quality control to ensure that the thickness and flatness of all finished products are within 0.003 millimeters.

Its main purpose is to maintain a certain width between the circular blades and adjust the horizontal gap between the upper and lower blades. The thickness tolerance is also required to be within 0.003mm, and the inner and outer surfaces undergo blackening treatment to effectively improve rust resistance.
