The main parameters of ultrasonic cleaning machine

Ultrasonic cleaning is based on cavitation, that is, countless bubbles are formed quickly and imploded quickly in the cleaning liquid. The resulting impact peels off the dirt on the inner and outer surfaces of the workpiece immersed in the cleaning solution. As the ultrasonic frequency increases, the number of bubbles increases and the blasting impact weakens. Therefore, high-frequency ultrasound is particularly suitable for cleaning small particles of dirt without damaging the surface of the workpiece. Bubbles are produced by applying high-frequency (ultrasonic frequency), high-intensity sound waves in the liquid. Therefore, any ultrasonic cleaning system must have three basic components: a tank for holding cleaning fluid, a transducer that converts electrical energy into mechanical energy, and an ultrasonic generator that generates high-frequency electrical signals.

Ultrasonic cleaning machine

(1) Frequency: ≥20KHz, can be divided into low frequency, intermediate frequency, high frequency 3 sections.

(2) Cleaning medium: ultrasonic cleaning is used, generally two types of cleaning agents: chemical solvents, water-based cleaning agents, etc. The chemical action of the cleaning medium can accelerate the effect of ultrasonic cleaning. Ultrasonic cleaning is a physical effect. The two effects are combined to fully and thoroughly clean the object.

(3) Power density: power density = emission power (W) / emission area (cm2) usually ≥ 0.3W/cm2, the higher the ultrasonic power density, the stronger the cavitation effect, the faster the speed, and the cleaning effect The better. But for precision objects with very high surface finish, long-term high-power density cleaning will produce "cavitation" corrosion on the surface of the object.

(4) Ultrasonic frequency: The lower the ultrasonic frequency, the easier it is to produce cavitation in the liquid, the greater the intensity, and the stronger the effect. It is suitable for initial washing of workpieces (rough and dirty). The higher the frequency, the strong directionality of the ultrasonic wave, which is suitable for the cleaning of delicate objects.

(5) Cleaning temperature: Generally speaking, the cavitation effect of ultrasonic is best at 30℃-40℃. The higher the temperature of the cleaning agent, the more significant the effect. Usually when ultrasonic is actually used, the working temperature is 50℃-70℃.

Precautions for the use of ultrasonic cleaners:

(1) The power supply of the ultrasonic cleaning machine and the power supply of the electric heater must have a good grounding device.

(2) It is strictly forbidden to turn on the ultrasonic cleaning machine without cleaning fluid, that is, the cleaning tank does not add a certain amount of cleaning fluid, and the ultrasonic switch must not be turned on.

(3) It is strictly forbidden to turn on the heating switch when there is no liquid in the cleaning equipment with heating equipment.

(4) It is forbidden to hit the bottom of the cleaning tank with heavy objects (iron parts) to avoid damage to the energy converter chip.

(5) The ultrasonic generator power supply should use a 220V/50Hz power supply alone and be equipped with a voltage stabilizer above 2000W.

(6) The bottom of the cleaning tank should be flushed regularly without excessive debris or dirt.

(7) Each time a new fluid is changed, the parts can be washed after the ultrasonic is activated.

Other applications of ultrasonic cleaning machine

Cleaning of silicon materials, silicon wafers, electronic appliances, medical equipment, metal stamping parts, oil pump nozzles, compressor parts, spinnerets and filter cores in the chemical fiber industry, and various metal parts.
